DAYTON —

Police officers have one person in custody after a high-speed chase on Interstate 75.

At 3:40 p.m. today, Franklin police attempted to pull over a white Nissan car on Main Street, but the car began to flee.

Officers followed the car onto I-75 northbound, reaching reported speeds of at least 107 miles per hour.

The chase continued into Dayton, where the suspects eventually turned onto state route 4.

At approximately 4 p.m., the suspects crashed their car on Stolz Avenue and fled on foot.

Police put one man in custody, finding what they suspect were weapons and drugs on him. A police dog was used to track other potential suspects.

No identities or further details have yet been released but Franklin police are being aided by the Dayton Police Department and Ohio State Highway Patrol.
